Chicken with Pears and Blue Cheese Recipe

Ingredients (2 persons):

  • 300 g chicken breast
  • 1 large aromatic pear
  • 50 g blue cheese
  • 10-15 almonds
  • 100 g butter
  • salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon hot paprika
  • a bunch of ramsons (wild garlic) leaves for garnishing (optional)

Preparation method:

  1. Wash the chicken breast and cut them into two slices.
  2. Slice thinly the pear.
  3. Rub salt and hot paprika on both sides of the chicken slices.
  4. Heat the butter in a pan and fry slightly the chicken on both sides over medium-high heat.
  5. Remove the chicken from the pan and braise slightly the pear slices on both sides in the same pan.
  6. In an ovenproof dish place the chicken slices, covered by the pear slices then the blue cheese and the chopped almonds.
  7. Roast in in the prehheated oven for 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted a bit.
  8. Serve with some greens as side dish, I used some freshly and roughly cut ramsons (wild garlic) leaves, since spring it is their season.

Csirke körtével és kék sajttal – Recept

 

Hozzávalók (2 fore):

  • 300 g csirkemell
  • 1 nagy aromás körte
  • 50 g kék sajt
  • 10-15 mandula
  • 100 g vaj
  • só, ízlés szerint
  • 1 teáskanál csípos paprika
  • egy maréknyi medvehagyma levelek a kerethez (opcionális)

Elkészítési módszer:

  1. Mossuk meg a csirkemellet és szeleteljük ketté.
  2. Szeleteljük vékonyra a körtét.
  3. Dörzsöljük sóval és csípos paprikával a csirke szeletek mindkét oldalát.
  4. Olvasszuk meg a vajat egy serpenyoben és a csirke mindkét oldalat kissé megpirítjuk, közepes-magas tuzen.
  5. Vegyük ki a csirkét a serpenyobol és pároljuk egy picit a körte szeleteket mindkét oldalukon ugyanabban a serpenyoben.
  6. Helyezzük a csirke szeleteket egy tuzálló tálba, majd föléjük a körte szeleteket, a kék sajtot és a felaprított mandulát.
  7. Süssük egy előmelegített sütoben 10-15 percig, amíg a sajt megolvad egy kicsit.
  8. Tálaljuk némi zöldséggel köretként, én használtam néhány frissen és nagyra vágott medvehagyma leveleket, mivel tavasz az o szezonjuk.

Rețetă de pui cu pere şi brânză cu mucegai

 

Ingrediente (2 persoane):

  • 300 g piept de pui
  • 1 pară mare şi aromată
  • 50 g brânză cu mucegai albastru
  • 10-15 migdale
  • 100 g unt
  • sare după gust
  • 1 linguriță boia/paprika iute
  • un buchet de frunze leurdă ca şi de garnitură (opțional)

Metoda de preparare:

  1. Spălați pieptul de pui şi tăiați-l în două felii.
  2. Feliați subțire para.
  3. Frecați cu sare şi boia iute pe ambele părți ale feliilor pui.
  4. Încălziți untul într-o tigaie şi prăjiți ușor carnea de pui pe ambele părți la foc mediu-mare.
  5. Scoateți puiul din tigaie şi căliți ușor în aceeași tigaie, feliile de de pară, pe ambele părți.
  6. Într-un loc vas de Jena așezați feliile de pui, acoperite de felii de pară, apoi brânza cu mucegai şi migdalele tocate.
  7. Prăjiți în cuptorul încălzit în prealabil timp de 10-15 minute, până când brânza s-a topit puțin.
  8. Serviți cu niște legume – verdețuri ca garnitură, eu am folosit frunze de leurdă proaspătă, de vreme ce primăvara este sezonul lor.

    This looks delicious, i’m one of very few people (i think) who love Blue Cheese so I think I will enjoy this dish a lot.

      English Muffins are a staple at our house for bkasrfaet. Mine usually end up “southwestern” style with some cheese, green chiles and egg. Hubby likes his with butter and honey. Either way it is a great starter. This recipe will be a keeper. Love the spinach idea!

    Amazing recipe! Not many recipes that use blue cheese. Great for dinner parties.

    We tried this dish and we gave it to few few of our friends who came around for dinner.
    To be honest they loved it and came back for more .well done.
